If you believe social marketing is more than posting funny memes and complaining about the early onset of pumpkin spiced lattes this year (in August!), you probably wield the social sphere with the dynamic skill of a highly trained kung fu master (think Bruce Lee) and turn it into realized success for clients. Because you recognize that there are real client goals for social marketing, you can --
- Increase meaningful engagement with relevant audiences
- Promote the trustworthiness and expertise of our clients' employees to the market
- Entertain and inspire our target audiences to action
- Motivate social validation of client brands
- Educate to establish thought leadership
- Capturing a few quality leads wouldn't hurt either
If you read between the lines, your approach achieves measurable and relevant results for our clients. That's WHAT success looks like.
Here's WHO success looks like. A natural multitasker, you're able to pivot and respond when priorities shift. After all, it's social media, right? You get people - what interests them, what they engage in, what makes them respond to social connections. Essentially, you're empathetic and consider social marketing to be...well...social. Plus, while you measure success by whether or not something achieved the desired result, you're not overly tied to how we've always done it or the way it's supposed to be done. Blaze trails, fail quickly, adjust, and celebrate the new success rather than follow an overly regimented process.
But...you have relevant and demonstrated experience. This is NOT an entry level position. You're walking through the door to provide and hone your expertise, not develop it from scratch. Lastly, you're a driven go-getter. While this will start as a very hands-on role -- you'll be building and running real social programs -- it's also the role that will lead the growing team and directly advise clients on their social strategy. We're a very practical meritocracy, so the sky is the limit. Revenue grows, compensation grows. Satisfied clients breed new business, breed bigger teams and nearly unlimited advancement. Want to expand from social to add responsibility in other digital disciplines? Done. Plus, while we're small and privately owned, the owners foster highly driven and capable folks on leadership tracks.
