Work closely with clients to drive improvement in their manufacturing processes such as:
o The efficiency of operations
o The cost of operations
o The speed of operations
o The operation's innovative technologies for staying relevant in a competitive market Stay plugged into industry and client research to analyze the information, identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Design, develop and put into place new operating models, including:
o Creating a vision and strategy for the client's business
o Coming up with new business processes
o Looking at how the client's organization and its governance are structured
o Using industry-leading tools and templates
o Setting up metrics to measure performance Help clients manage the change at their company, by writing communications, training materials and job descriptions that help explain the changes
Share your knowledge of manufacturing operations
Work with teammates located in different offices, in different parts of the world to stay focused on delivering the project outcome to the client
Contribute to the growth of the Products Industry X.0 Practice by helping other Accenture managers write with new business proposals and presentations
Participate in recruiting activities and informal coaching and mentoring to junior consultants
Be ready to rack up those air miles with weekly travel to client sites
Here's what you need:
At least 2 years of experience at a major manufacturing company in one of these technical roles:
o Process Engineer
o Industrial Engineer
o Manufacturing Engineer
o Production Supervisor
o Continuous Improvement Specialist
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial)
Bonus points if you:
At least 1 year participating in a rotational leadership development program
Have earned a Master's degree
Can work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, applying research, analysis and diagnosis skills
Successfully contribute to a positive team environment
Excel in leadership, including easily sharing your thoughts in person and in writing
Have the drive, critical thinking, communication skills and analytics required for success as a high-value management consultant
Led a team either at school, in the military or at work
Enjoy teamwork and collaboration
