Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a data scientist who is excited about analyzing and solving national security related problems. In this role you will be empowered to:

• Work directly with customer to exploit structured and unstructured data
• Identify important and interesting questions surrounding our customer's challenges, then translate those questions into concrete analytical tasks
• Develop tools and process to help access and uncover hidden patterns in data
• Deliver analytical products in support of operational missions
• Provide thought-leadership in the area of analytics/data science
• Identify and automate repetitive tasks

Here's what you need:

• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of prior experience with:
  • Data discovery, shaping, and analysis
  • Statistical and topic modeling
  • Parsing and ETL
• 2+ years of experience with the following technologies:
  • Front-end [Windows]: Web, BI Clients, MS Office, custom scripts
  • Back-end: Web, AWS, Linux, SharePoint
  • Version control: Git
  • Languages: Python, R

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with:
  • Microsoft PowerApps
  • Working on-site directly with customers
  • Using technology to elicit insights
  • Agile Development of tools
  • Learning new tools and technologies as needed

Security Clearance:

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $90,700 - $147,100

Colorado: $90,700 - $127,100

New York City: $105,000 - $147,100

Washington: $96,600 - $135,200
