Technical Customer Service Representative

Acara Solutions is hiring a Customer Service professional for our Southtowns customer, a premier manufacturer of RF products. This temporary to hire role will be responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers of Sti
-Co Industries and performing inside sales activities by utilizing in depth knowledge of company products and programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Assist customers with product selection and technical specifications, determines charges for services requested, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders.
-Expedites the order through the entire sales process until the customer has received merchandise as ordered.
-Issue Return Material Authorization numbers for returned products, prepare reports, provide customers with quotations, bid on contract proposals.
-Overcomes technical and business objections of current and prospective customers while building and maintaining customer relationships.
-Performs marketing activities to support the overall sales goals and market plan, and work with current and prospective customers to keep account activities and literature up to date.
-Compile lists and analyzes data for use as sales leads and reports to management, based on information from inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, dealers, business directories, Internet Web sites and other various sources.SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-High school diploma or GED
-Two years of related experience required in a technical customer service/account management role with the technical aptitude to learn and discuss product specifications. SKILL/EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:
-A high level of drive and commitment to work independently toward achieving goals is required. A strong commitment to quality and accuracy is essential.
-Must possess strong organization skills and be able to self
-prioritize to meet the demands of multiple projects and schedules.
-Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to internal and external customers for proper flow of information to maintain customer satisfaction.
-Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
