TCS TEST Deputy

We are ready to hire a Test Deputy Lead with hands on experience using the Navy's AN/BYG
-1 Tactical Control System (TCS) to help build the Submarine Combat System delivered to the United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Submarine fleet.

-stakes national security missions.
Supporting the test lead by coordinating across the BYG
- with our government and contractor partners
- to deliver a system that meets the Navy’s need date with the highest possible quality.
Coordinating with other leads to most effectively deploy team resources across the baselines
Planning staffing and budget with the program management team
Identifying automated testing opportunities and determining when automated test can be deployed and when we must use human
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering,
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as TCS Test Deputy
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician experience
Formal testing experience on a DoD production delivery environment
Leadership, planning, and delegation skills to drive large assignments to completion
Experience working proactively with local and remote test team members
Solid verbal and written communications skills using Microsoft Office products
Strong testing skills.
To sell your concepts and ideas in order to lead teams to embrace process improvements
To quickly grasp and apply new information.
Effectively handle complex assignments.
Effectively work with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including SW, INT, SE, CM, PM, DM, and QA.
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
Working in an Agile environment to resolve issues found in the system and address the best path forward to resolution
Testing support in an Agile development environment
Ability to travel
