Acara Solutions is seeking a talented Customer Relationship Manager to work with an independent aerospace component maintenance, repair, and overhaul service provider who focuses on APUs and related products. This is an exciting direct

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Customer Service Program Manager is responsible to act as the customer advocate and responsible for being the primary liaison between the customer and the company's MRO location. Responsible for monitoring customer inputs, operational coordination, redelivery, and account accuracy. 

To ensure that the company is effectively utilizing our technical and operational abilities to support customer APU and LRU spare assets. The Customer Service Program Manager will be responsible for providing a quality customer experience while driving customer inductions to support business plan and growth objectives. 

    • Review repair orders for accuracy and acknowledge customer purchase orders.
    • Coordinate daily activities including invoicing, status of items in house, customer correspondence all items dealing with communication.
    • Review pricing and suggest changes when needed.
    • Assist with forecasting by interfacing with customers and understanding demand.
    • The ability to recognize additional opportunities with current customers. 
    • Monitor customer orders in the shop to ensure turn times are met.
    • Attend production and other meetings to keep updated and to inform management of the status of our customer backlog.
    • Business Acumen as applied to preparing proposals/contracts and cursory review of financial health of projects 
    • Must be familiar with Microsoft suite of programs include 365 and SharePoint Excel and PowerPoint as well as other PC applications.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems and CRM systems. 
    • This job operates in a professional office environment, but you are supporting a manufacturing facility. You will interface with engineering, production, sales, and finance.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. Experience in Airline, Corporate Aircraft, or MRO will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a customer and client focused role in a technical environment 
  • Minimum 3 years experience with MS Office applications (SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Minimum 1 year experience with gas turbine repair management. APU part repairs is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with an international customer base
  • Familiarization in supporting maintenance, repair and overhaul for aviation based customers.
  • Knowledge of lean and six sigma operational elements and has demonstrated a track record of working effectively in a technically challenging aerospace, manufacturing or repair operation.
  • Comfortable and proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to analyze relevant data to determine customer service outputs. Handle complex and escalated customer related issues and drive results.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of roles on, with and leading teams across all operational levels, promoting effective collaboration and problem
    -solving opportunities.
  • Proven track record of driving significant improvement in complex operational processes to yield a significant positive outcome, using available data and customer input to set measurable and obtainable improvement objectives.
