Veterinary Technician

Absecon Veterinary Hospital & Emergency Service is now recruiting experienced veterinary technicians for general practice and emergency roles! There is excellent career growth opportunities and on the job training.

Our busy general practice recently expanded to provide a fully staffed onsite emergency service. We are looking to fill first shift, second shift, and overnight positions as we are looking to build our amazing team by adding additional veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary technician assistants to meet the needs of the practice.

Our emergency service works alongside our general practice to provide dedicated emergency care from 7am-midnight, seven days a week.

Our hospital is privately owned and is fully equipped with Snyder ICU cages, ultrasound, digital radiography and a fully integrated in-house laboratory. Sleeping accommodations are available for candidates that may be traveling from a distance away for consecutive shifts.

We are looking for someone who will embrace our philosophy of top-notch customer service, outstanding client and patient care, and team work. Preference will be given to CVT and/or VTS candidates.

Location: Our hospital is located in Absecon, NJ which is a convenient 45-60 minute commute from Philadelphia and only 10 minute drive to the Jersey Shore.

Position: Flexible work schedule (full or part-time considered), competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits package will be provided to the right candidate. Our benefits package includes health insurance, 401K match, CE allowance, an internal bonus system, vacation and sick time, and veterinary discounts.
