Seeking a CFO out of a bank!

Strong and growing Northern Virginia Community Bank has an immediate need for a Community Bank Chief Financial officer that has a vision for a growing bank and a seat at the table to implement that vision. As a member of the Executive Management team with Board reporting responsibilities, your voice in running the bank counts!

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible to:

• Oversee daily operations of the Accounting Department and supervise staff
• Participate in the strategic planning of the bank – short and long term
• Improve processes, and update technology as needed. Improve policies and procedures, core process improvement
• Budget prep and review the analysis of income/expense posting, budget variance analysis, analysis of profitability, etc.; update the budget process
• Prepare all regulatory reports including quarterly Call Reports, Board reporting, etc.
• Review and report on ALM; sit on ALCO committee
• Ensure compliance with all regulations
• Coordinate information requests from outside auditors and regulatory officials as needed

Ideal Background:

• CFO experience at a bank is required
• Proven track record of growth
• Experience at a regional or community bank is HIGH;Y desired
• Knowledge of bank accounting, regulatory reporting, ALM, Investments, strategic planning, etc.
• BS in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent leadership, and communication skills
• CPA is a plus
