Member Service Specialist (Medical Insurance)
Handle all calls from members and providers.
The Member Support Representative is the front-line team and is responsible to
answering questions or solving problems (member and provider) through multiple channels (i.e., phone, web, fax) relate to eligibility, benefits, coverage, claims, billing, etc. by using material and tools with accuracy and precision. This incumbent will be responsible for effectively presenting and discussing our products and services with members and providers, creating and maintaining positive relationships and for exceeding quality and productivity goals. Additionally, this position provides support to Medical Management and Quality Initiatives to facilitate member utilization of preventive or medically appropriate services.
• Proven customer service skills required
• Demonstrated competency in Windows (Outlook, Word, Internet Explorer, Excel and
• High School Diploma or GED
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
• Previous call center or insurance experience a plus.
Must be flexible to work varied shifts ranging anywhere from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. Start date July 13, 2020.
Initially position including training will be remote; all hardware equipment will be provided, must have reliable WiFi service. Position will move to Harrisburg office when offices reopen.
Full-time 37.5/hrs. per week.
