Job Description

We leverage industry best practices and business innovations to provide measurable results. We are seeking a Project Manager to support our MARAD account.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead concurrent federal acquisition projects from initiation to completion through the Federal Acquisition lifecycle.

• Manage and deliver Task Orders supporting the development and delivery of acquisition related artifacts, policies, procedures, administrative and technical documents that reflect the current business practices of MARAD

• Ensure information and deliverables are presentable, concise, accurate and delivered on time.

• Lead a team in evaluating current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline business operations through process mapping.

• Design, develop, and maintain high quality operational artifacts of critical acquisition process and their associated documentation, in a cross functional team setting.

• Develop, update, and maintain communication materials as well as support the development of project documentation and deliverables

• Execute business process analysis and translate into acquisition and operational artifacts, policies, and procedures.

• Direct and lead the work of administrative and technical staff responsible for the analysis, development, review, and consolidation of acquisition documents, policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists and guidelines

• Oversee the design, use, and maintenance of designated SharePoint sites, with the data being worked from multiple sources that require consolidation, normalization, and regular synchronization.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience providing project management supporting similar work.

• Experience in supporting the Federal Government’s acquisition process

• Strong understand of Federal acquisition lifecycle

• Strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile project management methodologies.

• Understanding of relevant federal and agency acquisition policies and regulations.

• Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role.

• Proficiency in business process modeling and improvement techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Strong analytical skills, oral and written communications skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Business, Project Management, or related discipline

• Ability to travel to Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Beaumont, TX; New Orleans, LA; and Oakland, CA

Preferred:

• Experience supporting DOT MARAD and/or NAVY

• Master’s degrees in Business, Project Management, or related discipline
