Job Title: Sr. Full Stack Java Developer
Work Location: Greater Philadelphia Area
Is Telecommuting possible? Probably not
Work environment: Office building with free parking and cafeteria

Contract Length: one year

Responsibilities: Build enterprise web applications running on mobile devices, such as tablets, leveraging responsive design. Execute code reviews and provide technical direction to the development team.

Aavalar is partnering with a fast growing international company in need of an experienced Sr. Full Stack Developer for a contract position in their multi-tier web environment. The right candidate will need a complete understanding of web applications running on mobile devices.
Job Title: Sr. Full Stack Java Developer

Responsibilities: Build enterprise web applications running on mobile devices, such as tablets, leveraging responsive design. Execute code reviews and provide technical direction to the development team.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 7+ years of experience with enterprise software and large distributed applications
- Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, Spring framework 4.0
- Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript
- SQL Query experience including multi-table joins, query tuning
- Experience in SQL DDL, DCL and DML
- Experience with Web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP), including security-based implementations
- Experience in front-end frameworks like Bootstrap
- Implementing transaction using ORM frameworks (JPA and Hibernate)
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to execute code reviews and lead development team
- Self-Starter who works well independently and on teams
Desired Skills:
- Oracle programming background, data modeling and PL/SQL design
- Experience with Tomcat Servers and CI Tools
- Experience with STRUTS
- Experience with AngularJS 5+ and/or Vue.js 2+ frameworks
- Familiar with Unix/Linux scripting
- Understanding of networks, firewalls and load balancing
