The Customer Accounts Manager manages the Renewals Department, which is responsible for the renewal payment process. Responsible for achieving company goals in revenue, renewals, and write-off percentages.
Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers • Protect Company assets • Direct immediate contact with all Customers who have not renewed their lease agreement(s), both in the field and on the phone • First up to help set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals • Act as a Customer counselor who resells the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments • Monitor and recommend payment frequency and renewal-date changes to the General Manager based on a Customer’s payment history • Document all Customer appointments and maintain updated Customer information in the store computer system • Monitor the accuracy of Customer classifications according to Customer payment history and habits • Recommend the use of components from the Account Tool Belt to the General Manager for endorsement • Supervise, develop, and schedule the activities of Customer Account Advisers • Responsible for closing lease agreements per policy as second up to the GM • Update renewals goal board daily • Facilitate returns authorized by GM • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned • Safely operate company vehicle • Complete and maintain truck maintenance sheet weekly and route sheets daily • Other tasks as assigned by management
• Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and “dollying” merchandise 50-300 pounds • All skills necessary to effectively perform all functions in the store • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills • Strong telephone skills and etiquette • Good organizational skills • Professional groomed appearance • Good driving skills • Ability to work schedule of budgeted hours varying from 8AM to 9PM Satisfactory MVR (driving record), D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require it, drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check and required testing, a valid Driver’s License, and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy
