AZPetVet is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist.
The Payroll Administrator position will partner with the management team to facilitate and communicate payroll, payroll policies, procedures, laws, and other government regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the processing of bi-weekly payroll of approximately 600 employees in the Phoenix Metro Area, including time card review, PTO accruals, internal paybacks. Oversee the on-boarding of new staff as it relates to new hire paperwork. Make recommendations on improving processes and policies. Manage worker’s compensation function, OSHA filings and safety inspections. Maintain working relationships with Managers by monitoring day to day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and benefits.
- Prior Payroll experience required.
- Functional knowledge of payroll processing and laws.
- General understanding of benefits administration.

Supervisory requirements – This position does not have any supervisory roles.
