Field Service Senior Technician

Job Description:
Conducts basic installation of technical solutions
Follows predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities
Work is periodically reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist
Follows escalation guidelines
Escalates technical issues to more senior level technical specialist
Develops technical knowledge in a specific subject matter
Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades and basic deployments
Supports more senior level technical specialists in complex deployments
Establishes and builds positive customer relationships

Day to Day Activities:
Responsible for on-site installation, configuration, implementation, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters. Interprets customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps or engineers.

Work Environment:
Work from the customer site/office

Team Info:
You will be working with a complete Field Services team. The team includes the following: Regional Field Manager, Site Lead/Senior Technician; Field Technician and Senior Field Technician

Work Schedule:
Standard 8-5pm schedule

Must Haves:
Good communication skills in working with customers and internal partners
Intermediate understanding of internal service processes and ability to articulate these to customers
Typically requires a minimum 2+ years of related experience; or equivalent experience
