Customer Support Specialist

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be considered a subject matter expert of a specific ATPCO product and possess critical thinking skills to provide research and analysis for the resolution of all assigned customer problem tickets. Additionally, using your subject matter expertise you will provide customers with clear and concise support for product usage as well as low touch onboarding support for assigned products including but not limited to the subscription data feeds of Fares, Rules, Fees, Optional Services, Branded Fares, Taxes, Price Elements, Assembled Data, Passenger Facility Charges and Routings. You Will: * Attain and maintain detailed knowledge regarding how your assigned product is processed including the interrelationship with other ATPCO products and services * Explore and learn about how the travel industry uses your product * Keep up to date on current knowledge regarding travel industry events and news, especially regarding the impact to your product * Monitor product processing, troubleshoot processing problems, communicate problem resolutions, participate in product testing, and coordinate any issues that might affect the Product Development departments efforts as it relates to your product * Provide assistance to customers for your product by assessing their needs, explaining product use, and providing solutions to problems * Share knowledge freely with team members including cross-training other team members The Ideal Candidate: * Prior work experience as a Data/Product Support Specialist or equivalent industry experience in areas of product responsibility * Experience in the travel or airline industry * Knowledge of Passenger Domestic and International Fares/Rules * Basic understanding of how ATPCO products are used by the travel industry is a plus ATPCO is the foundation of flight shopping, providing pricing and retailing data, tools, and services to 500+ airlines, global distribution systems, sales channels, and technology companies.
