Aircraft Mechanic w/ Pilot exp   Bellingham WA

Local private flight department in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated and has A &P Mechanic certification.  Pilot experience and IA license is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

We operate a very diverse fleet of corporate aircraft that will be under a constant schedule of manufacturer maintenance programs. This position has several duties and responsibilities.  Aircraft maintenance is the primary responsibility; however, some duties are not specifically related to aircraft maintenance such as Pilot duties as needed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

·        Aircraft scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance including assistance with inspections, troubleshooting and repair on turbine, piston, and rotorcraft aircraft

·        Pilot duties as assigned

·        Aircraft towing and parking

·        Aircraft cleaning

·        Aircraft fueling

·        Passenger support for departing and returning flights.

·        Aircraft owner support as needed

·        Other duties as assigned

Schedule is Monday – Friday (some overtime and weekends as needed)

Qualifications/Licenses

·        High School or equivalent

·        (A&P) Airframe and power plant license & Pilot License (an IA is a plus)

·        Valid US driver’s license

Required Skills/Experience

·        Attention to detail

·        At least 4 years aviation maintenance experience

·        Knowledge of aviation regulations and aviation maintenance best practices

·        Strong work ethic

·        Problem solving skills

·        Must be flexible

Additional Requirements

·        Subject to pre-employment drug testing

·        Must pass a background check

·        Must have authorization to work in the U.S.

·        Some travel may be required

·        Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
