Job Description

ATA Services Inc. is looking for a responsible Customer Service Representative to work a temporary assignment in Santa Fe, NM.

  • Pay: $12.00 per hour
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment length: 6 months – 1 year 
  • Monday - Friday; 8pm-5pm 

Job Description

This position serves as the point of contact for in-state and out-of-state visitors in the Santa Fe Visitor Information Center.

The Customer Service Representative provides information to visitors in an informed and professional manner and promotes the natural beauty of the state, attractions, events, monuments, museums, historic sites, and cultures.

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide professional tourism information in person, via phone, via e-mail, via mail to promote New Mexico and to have visitors extend their visit.
  • Utilize resources to help answer tourism-related questions.
  • Manages inventory of literature by keeping racks stocked and in order.
  • Perform daily and monthly clerical and office duties using computer technology to include the daily logs and the monthly visitor count.
  • Provides essential support during the supervisor's absence.

Minimum Qualification

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Three (3) months of work experience in office administration and/or customer service
  • Associate degree AND Zero years of experience

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage with extended periods of standing and sitting. Bending and reaching may be required.  Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
