The primary functions of the Sr Full Stack Developer are to design, modify, develop, write, and implement web-based Ecommerce/ERP platform; support and/or install software applications and components; work from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintain documentation of process flow.



Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Development of new Ecommerce/ERP website to support business channels.
  • Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology
  • Maintain and modify software; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes
  • Test and develop programming modifications
  • Write new program code using prescribed specifications
  • Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part
  • Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor
  • Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs
  • Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls
  • Write and maintain programming documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Develop scalable and maintainable ecommerce platform.
  • Participate in all phases of software development lifecycle.
  • Interface with internal and external customers, when required.
  • Oversee testing and develop fixes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Education and/or Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, computer science related field.
  • 5+ years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.





  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to: Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Java Script, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search
  • Design, code, and test new web software applications
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and Identifying areas for modification and improvement
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
