Procurement Associate (Pharmaceutical)

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness in sourcing and purchasing activities.
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other business partners, ensuring the availability of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
Continuously analyze and monitor market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Oversee the preparation and management of purchase orders, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, finance, and R&D, to ensure timely and accurate information flow, and alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 1 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and relevant regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve procurement performance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Certification in supply chain management, such as CPSM or CSCP, is a plus.
