ARServices is seeking aSenior Operations Assistanttosupportthe Executive Vice President for Operations (EVP OPS), business operations staff and related activities/requirements.Thesuccessful candidate willjoinARServices'corporate headquarters team as a key person to ensuringefficiency and coordination across the company. This position requires a person with strong organizational and time management skills, a problem-solving mindset, the ability to collaborate across the organization, and the ability tomanage multipletaskssimultaneously. The ideal candidate is someone extremely motivated, articulate, and proficient with the Microsoft Office suitewitha passion for outstanding client service. This positionis located in Merrifled, VA,and is on-site.

Primary Responsibilities

  • As necessary, coordinate with the EVP OPS to support schedule and workloadmanagement
  • Managethebusiness calendarof regular meetings in support of Operations (scheduling, preparation, distribution of materials, and capture of actions items)
  • Support Operations staff with data calls and development of contracts' Monthly Status Reports (MSR) and other deliverables based on the Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL)
  • Support Operations staff in drafting responses to government agency market research such as Requests for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Notices (SSN)
  • Compile data/inputs from Operational staff related to monthly Project Management Review (PMR) inputs, annual budgets, etc.
  • Support human resources and talent acquisition in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition onto their program
  • Provide administrative support to government contract proposal efforts
  • Track follow-up "action items" from meetings with appropriate staff
  • Draft internal communicationsin support of Operations such as emails, plans of actions & milestones, scheduling, and policy memo development
  • Support preparation of various presentationsusing programs such as MS PowerPoint or Visio
  • Prepare or coordinate compiling ofa wide range of reports, correspondence, and documentation; at times including data entry, proofreading, illustration, and editing in support of various business management efforts
  • MaintainOperations Department document/file management through SharePoint
  • Serve as back-up for coordinationwithbuildingmanagement on facility matters (repairs,operating status, physical security issues, parking)
  • Work closely with the Executive staff, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Business Development, Facility Security Officer staff to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement, including supporting development of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • As required for technical support, serve as liaison from corporate staff to IT service provider
  • Other job-related duties as assigned


  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in government contractor business operations as an operations assistant or executive assistant supporting a CEOor senior executive
  • Experience supportinga seniorexecutivein a Government Contracting environment
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a minimum Secret security clearance
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software and applications, graphics applications, and presentation software such as PowerPoint and Excel
  • User and site customization experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience scheduling and managing meetings using Microsoft Teams
  • Executive-level customer service skills and excellent organizational skills; team oriented
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all situations and with the ability to apply discretion and confidentiality
