We are currently hiring for a Sales Account Manager in our Alpharetta, GA office. The role of this position is to support the Business Unit Managers in managing our regional distribution partners and customers by identifying their needs and expectations and communicating appropriately. Product knowledge, problem solving, verbal communication, follow up and situational awareness are critical in this role. This position will be accountable for the following:


Accountable for Sales and Opportunities Pipeline with Distributor Partners

  • Bi-weekly Calls
  • Manage SalesForceDate (eg. wty edits, enter new opportunities)
  • Forecasting and Production pipeline updates
  • Creating quotations
  • Manage sales scorecard changes (personnel/ budget updates)
  • Partner with the Proposal team to secure bids/ grants/ etc.
  • Understanding risks, developing sales strategy by territory, and reporting

Accountable for Sales Order Process and Fulfillment

  • Forecasting orders and delivery expectations
  • Ensuring accuracy of orders received
  • Managing Inventory and delivery schedules with Production
  • Delivery tracking

Accountable for Distributor/ Customer Communications

  • Reporting/ Escalating Technical needs/RMA
  • Scheduling key meetings + presentations
  • Coordinating trainings + onboarding new distributor reps
  • Prioritizing large project deliverables and business needs
  • Documentation for projects as required (eg. licensing/ NDA’s/Sole Source)

Accountable for Communicating Key Engineering/ Technical Deliverables

  • Prioritizing customer needs with Sales and Applications Engineers
  • Understand and communicate business implications

Accountable for Data Plans in conjunction with a Data Plan Business Unit Manager

  • Communicate upcoming renewals to distributor reps
  • Account for device details and quote consolidations
  • Collaborate with the Administration team
