Supervisor, Network Ops
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Manage and execute the tactical distribution of work to the OCU ensuring efficient and timely completion of each task for EB Logistics, Equipment, and Transportation. Manage the timeliness and accuracy of data integrity via the use if KPIs.
Provide clear direction and communication between management and the OCU to ensure a safe, productive, and pleasant work environment in the Long Beach Network Logistics office. The administration of the OCU Collective Bargaining Agreement to include Hire, Transfer, Suspend, Recall, and Discharge OCU employees. Direct and assign work to OCU employees as required and in accordance with the OCU Contract ensuring equitable distribution of work in Equipment, Transportation, and EB Logistics. Recognize/Reward OCU employees as deemed necessary.
Manage Time in Lieu's and Grievances as required and in accordance with the OCU Collective Bargaining Agreement and take corrective action as necessary. - Manage the execution of the tactical business and work flow as directed by the process owners of Equipment, Transportation, and Network Logistics.Provide daily Operations & Logistics support for unexpected issues and problem resolution for Long Beach Equipment, Transportation, and Network Logistics.
This position is responsible for tactical management of Network Logistics and Operations for EB Logistics, Equipment, and Transportation as directed by Scottsdale, North America personnel. Manage the OCU in accordance with the OCU Contract, and the execution of the tactical workflow in the Long Beach Network Logistics Department.
Close Supervision: The incumbent(s) is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions. Work is checked frequently
Occasional Supervision: The incumbent(s) performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures, and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

Bachelor's degree in transportation is strongly preferred or business management or equivalent work experience.4 year college degree or equivalent work experience required.
Thorough knowledge of stevedoring, terminal operations from an APL Liner perspective
