Purpose of Job:

The Marketing Automation Specialist (HubSpot) is responsible for helping shape and drive our marketing automation strategy and execute programs to increase sales lead generation.

Responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of marketing automation programs in support of APCON's marketing and sales objectives. This role is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and reporting of ABM, email, webinar, live event and integrated marketing programs.

Additionally, this individual maintains a current understanding of marketing automation HubSpot best practices and applies them to the execution of our programs in collaboration with regional marketing leaders and teams.

We are looking for a person who can "roll up their sleeves" to do the work necessary to execute on the marketing automation vision. The ideal candidate will be an expert in HubSpot and other marketing automation systems, as well as digital marketing technologies, best practices and industry trends.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Uses HubSpot and other tools to build, deploy and monitor critical marketing programs, such as engagement programs, nurtures, trigger and batch campaigns, drip campaigns, email, webinar, and live event programs
  • Activities include program flow builds, email creation, landing page creation, form creation, list uploads, lead scoring, data management, and custom report generation
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to execute best-in-class HubSpot programs in support of the buyer's journey, including adoption, retention, and expansion initiatives
  • Assists in demand generation data maintenance and hygiene within the automation tool, and responsible for accurate segmentation, targeting, and reporting
  • Implements marketing automation best practices and ensures proper end-to-end testing of programs prior to launch and A/B/n testing after deployment
  • Establishes and delivers marketing reporting, dashboards and analysis on program performance, conversions, attribution and effectiveness

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • HubSpot EXPERT, and super user (HubSpot certification a plus)
  • Experience with CRM Systems, such as SugarCRM, Salesforce (SugarCRM, highly preferred)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, experience creating custom reports
  • Creative, open-minded and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to lead generation
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and eager to take on more projects and learn new skills
  • Experience working with sales organizations as it relates to market research, successfully executing a campaign, gaining stakeholder alignment, and gathering feedback
  • Working knowledge of HTML (Zapier integration experience a big plus)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing) or equivalent experience
  • Strong Marketing Automation/Operations Background
  • 3+ years of marketing automation experience (HubSpot highly preferred)
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills as well as proficiency with the entire MS Office suite
