The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for managing multiple, mutually dependent projects in an effort to improve AGM’s performance and ensure customer success. The Program Manager is charged with coordinating and prioritizing resources across projects, managing the links between the projects, the overall costs, and the risks to the program. The PM is responsible for ensuring the success of projects, defining them in terms of AGM’s goals and objectives, and providing a qualified workforce and working environment to ensure project success.
All other ancillary functions and responsibilities, e.g., direct oversight of his/her organizational unit, department or project; adherence to and compliance with, all policies, procedures, plans and state and federal laws; coordination and monitoring of work schedules, pricing, and all technical performance within his/her assigned area of responsibility; mentoring and coaching; oversight of contracts and budgets; and the development and expansion of new business opportunities are mandatory administrative devices used by the Program Manager to guarantee the success of the company. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manages all Projects in an effort to improve AGM’s performance levels among all current and future Projects.
- Responsible for all aspects of employee recruitment, selection, hiring, training, evaluation, and rewards and discipline.
- Responsibility for managing the Company’s task order program with the goal of maximizing task order revenue associated with the firm's various contracts and contracting vehicles.
- Collaborates with prime/subcontractors to build an effective team with proven experience in the areas addressed by the task order.
- Provides management oversight for programs including interfacing with clients to ensure their requirements and all contractual obligations are fully recognized and met, if not exceeded.
- Works with program and cost center managers to identify risks, develop risk mitigation plans, determine areas for improvement, and provide assistance in executing the steps necessary to raise the overall level of success for the program.
- Reviews and ensures compliance of Performance Work Statement (PWS) by Supervisors, Site Leads, and/or Team Leads.
- Provides Monthly Status Reports (MSR) to Contracting Office Representatives (CORs). Meet with CORs and customers representatives.
- Approves employees’ timesheets and paid time off (PTO).
- Regularly reviews all program activities by task progress toward stated goals and objectives per the Performance Work Statement of the contract.
- Monitors all project budgets.
- Ensures that division/department resources and indirect expenses are within established budget guidelines.
- Coordinates and monitors the scheduling and performance of contract/task orders in support of company business goals and objective.
- Participate and work with our prime customers to answer technical task orders.
- Provides input into the strategic initiatives of the company.
- Works to accomplish all organizational goals and objectives.
- Consistently strives toward initiating new measures to enhance program effectiveness and cost efficiencies.
- Actively applies quality assurance measures to the management and performance of the contract.
- Help analyze/interpret task order RFPs/RFQs as released; identify any specialty resource requirements/constraints; and consolidate list of customer hot buttons, innovative support services, team features and benefits vs. competition discriminators, and proposal risks to make informed bid/no bid decisions to management.
- Works to develop and propagate new relationships with various individuals and agencies within the federal government and elsewhere in an ongoing effort to develop new business opportunities.

Job Specific Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the areas of business, management, technical writing, journalism, or marketing.
- 5-10 years direct experience in Program Management.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- Excellent communications skills (oral, written, organizational, personal).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and be a highly motivated self-starter.
