JOB TITLE: EXPEDITOR – SALES SUPPORT
Alamo Transformer Supply Company (ATSCO) is a Texas owned and operated company started in 1963. ATSCO is strategically positioned with two locations, San Antonio and Houston. The San Antonio facility focuses on the Distribution Transformer repair, rewinding and material recycling. The Houston facility focuses on large power system repairs. The two locations allow ATSCO to service both utility/Co-Ops and the Industrial/petrochemical customer's needs. This posting is for the Houston facility located near Hobby Airport.
This role will contribute to the sales team by helping sales representatives improve their productivity by allowing them to spend more time sellingThe Expeditor - Sales Support will work directly with team management to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Organize sales & marketing activities.
- Maintain active client & inventory files.
- Facilitate bid replies.
- Input sales orders into Global Shop (ERP system).
- Create promotional emails & marketing pieces.
- Assist in sales process where needed.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory.
- Must create dimensional drawings, take pictures, and create spreadsheets.
EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to multitask and excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- PC proficient.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in sales/sales support role.
- Knowledge of Global Shop or other ERP system preferred.
JOB TYPE & PAY
- Starting pay $14 or dependent on experience
- Full-time position, M-F 8 am-5pm
