Job Description

Inside Sales Representative


 The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person.


Job duties

Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Understanding customer needs and requirements.

An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.  You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with others, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Understand customer needs and requirements

Ensure follow-up with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.


Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

Team up with others to build pipeline and close deals

Maintain multiple sales reports

Maintain freight report and work with brokers to ship orders



Proven inside sales experience dialing dozens of calls per day

Excellent verbal, organization and written communications skills

Strong listening and presentations skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

BA/BS degree or equivalent
