Job description
Shipping / Receiving Clerk
Job Function:
• Handle outgoing shipments by checking them physically
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Report and replace any defective item prior to packing
• Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with The Part number, Revision and quantities
• Ensure that serial and batch numbers match the product
• Handle packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipment
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods
• Ensure posting of outbound deliveries using pre-designated software
• Process customer’s orders by ensuring that the right shipment is on its way
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded in Epicor Software or Shipping Log
• Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled
• Make sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner
• Operate pallet jack to transport shipments from the storage area to the dock
• Handle space arrangements for outgoing shipments in the storage areas
• Ensure that the shipping and dock areas are cleaned and maintained at all times

4. Ability to utilize digital scale & label printing software
