This is a PART-TIME internship from September 23rd to November 22nd.

The Healthy Housing Foundation division of AHF focuses on advocating for and creating affordable housing for both general, at risk, and homeless populations.

+ Assists the HHF department in processing housing applications for HHF's housing locations, including following up with case managers to get applicant information, and contacting applicants.
+ Assists in the scheduling of appointments and calendar, as well as keeping track of contacts, fielding introductory emails, and reaching out to community partners and case managers for other information.
+ Assists with the creation of attractive and accurate Department specific reports, including and especially Excel spreadsheets, and other documentation that outlines program progress, for presentations to small or large groups of AHF Staff on an as-needed basis.
+ Attends HHF events, which include rallies, press conferences, protests, and location openings.
+ Expected to be a team player, who is willing to take on new challenges and specific project assignments, as deemed appropriate to support the department's overall goals and objectives.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Participation in AHF Meetings/Committees:
+ Attends all applicable meetings relating to Department projects and policies.
+ Must be a fulltime student (junior/senior) at an accredited 4-year college or post graduate
+ Must have a gpa of 3.0 or higher majoring in Health Policy & Adminitstration, Social Work, Sociology or related field
+ Must commit to the full duration of the program and full time hours
+ Must have exceptional computer skills
