Mobile App Developer

Position Summary

This is a hybrid role in Lisle IL

True Solutions is looking for a self-motivated developer to join a small team who builds custom web applications for enterprise and retail clients.

As our Front-End Mobile App Developer, you will pioneer our mobile app development for multiple projects. The development team wants to hear your voice and expertise. While your focus will be on mobile development, you will help the team with front-end web development on multiple projects.

Job Requirements

· Develop custom mobile applications build on your choice of framework

· Build and maintain automated unit tests and documentation

· Define processes and training materials to educate the DevOps team on mobile development

· Publish and manage applications on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store

· Your code will be reviewed to ensure effectiveness, scalability, and professionalism

· Work on front-end web development projects as needed

· Self-motivated and passionate about growing your development skills

· Strong attention to detail, including writing clean code and following coding standards

· Self-awareness to know your strengths and weaknesses

· Bring your experience to the table to provide and receive valuable feedback

· Self-accountable and ability to learn from mistakes

Professional Experience

· 3+ years professional experience as a mobile developer (or similar)

· Experience collaborating with a team to build, deploy, and maintain mobile apps

· Comfortable using and contributing to custom libraries and frameworks

· Experience using custom web platforms

· Portfolio of polished, published apps required

Technical Experience

· Strong experience with OOP (object-oriented programming)

· Experience with high-traffic and high-volume systems and web applications

· Comfortable with Git (or similar)

Fluent in:

· Native app languages (Swift, Java, etc.)

· JavaScript

· NativeScript or Hybrid App Frameworks

· HTML

· CSS

· API (RESTful preferred)

Bonus skills:

· Desktop app deployment (Electron or similar)

· AJAX

· JSON

· MVC framework methodologies
