Job Description

We are a local fast-growing facility supplies and furnishings distributor who prides ourselves in taking the pain out of procurement for our customers. Since 1915 we have been partnering with our customers to help understand their facility and janitorial supply needs and look for solutions. With our strong supplier relationships, we supply to facility mangers, business owners, property managers, and purchasing managers - cleaning and janitorial supplies and equipment, breakroom supplies, foodservice supplies, outdoor furnishings such as picnic tables, benches, bike racks, trash and recycling receptacles, entrance mats, and ice melt.

Responsibilities and duties:

Develops profitable and sustainable sales growth of assigned existing accounts.

Identifies new business opportunities by prospecting and cold calling with decision makers to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and preparing estimates and quotes.

Attends networking events to develop and grow relationships with business referral partners.

Builds up detailed knowledge about the company's products. Performs administrative duties, such as preparing sales goals, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

Conducts reviews on accounts on a regular basis to evaluate clients' needs to match with appropriate products and/or services.

Ensures that clients know how to use the products and provides assistance as necessary.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and skills:

Minimum of 1 year outside sales experience with success hitting goals/quotas

Hunter sales mentality, highly self-motivated, reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic.

Valid driver's license

High School Diploma/GED

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
