AFS is looking for a Merchant Services Support. AFS was founded in 2017, we are an innovative financial technology payment provider with a mission to revolutionize the financial technology industry through innovative, all encompassing payment solutions. Our leadership team has over 150 years of combined payments experience with TSYS and First Data/Fiserv.
This position will be based in our Southlake Office. (Please do not apply if you are looking for remote work.)
- Answers incoming customer calls from merchants and sales agents regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns.
- Opening, notating, and completing client trouble tickets.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller.
- Provide assistance to both internal and external customers while exhibiting tact, courtesy, and professional demeanor.
- Resolving problems and implementing solutions.
- Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call.
- Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
- Impact the company's bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
The successful candidate must have a background to include:
- At least 1 year of customer/technical support experience preferred.
- Previous merchant services experience is a plus!
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with TSYS and/or First Data/Fiserv is a BIG plus.
