Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Interior Architectural Design Intern to be based in Virginia Beach, VA.

This position is expected to begin on June 5, 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Performs entry level work.
• Follows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently in pursuit of Bachelor of Architecture accredited program.
• Must have completed third year of study.
• Due to the nature of the work US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience in architecture project construction documentation using Revit.
• Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites products or other related graphic software.
• Some knowledge of project design and construction documentation and materials.
• Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects and documents.
• Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Portfolio submission required to demonstrate skill set
