Job Description

ADS, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to support our customers within the C5ISR community. Ideal candidates possess experience and knowledge of Military C5ISR programs. A relevant Bachelor's degree, unmatched competitive drive, and exceptional interpersonal skills are a must.

Job Title: C5ISR Business Development Manager - Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance

Location: Remote, Headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA

Ideal candidates possess experience and knowledge of Military Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR) programs and/or other ISR programs and capabilities. Key experience also includes knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Lifecycle and in the end-use of military ISR systems. Ideal candidates will possess either 5-years of military/civil servant service OR 5 years of sales/business development experience in the technology sector. We are seeking a humble team player with unmatched competitive drive, critical thought abilities, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent ADS with program offices and respective contracting offices across all federal services and agencies assigned
  • Research and develop business within assigned program office and related accounts
  • Identify program needs and objectives
  • Identify initial purchases and priorities, manufacturers, product categories, and technologies
  • Identify preferred and/or optimal means of procurement
  • Identify best value ISR partner suppliers
  • Engage and establish long term sales and service solutions
  • Provide value to partner suppliers/resellers and OEMs.
  • Understand the Defense Acquisition Lifecycle and provide solutions within existing processes
  • Create new solutions in response to market changes
  • Help structure and grow program development business unit
  • Achieve annual sales target revenue and gross profit

Requirements

  • 5 years of military/civil servant service OR
  • 5 years of sales/business development experience in the technology sector
  • 2 years of experience with government programs as an industry partner to Department of Defense (DoD), DoD end-user, or government acquisition
  • 2 years of experience in government contracts & procedures
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, High school diploma or equivalent

Travel:up to 50%
