Job Description

Clinical Director needed for outpatient, drug addiction treatment facility in the McKinney area. Must have experience in the management of substance abuse treatment or other healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for supervising and directing everything from employees and budgets to technology and operations. As Clinical Director, you must possess excellent management and mentoring skills. You must be an outstanding communicator able to resolve conflicts and issues. If you have a deep respect for policies and ethics and can inspire that in others, you are ideal for the role.

JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties include: substance abuse program development, oversight, and training for current as well as new programs; staff management, hiring, and training; healthcare provider credentialing application and oversight; financial management including medical claims and A/R oversight, monthly budgeting and payment of bills; marketing and outreach to procure new patients in need of treatment; and ensure all programs adhere to and are compliant with all state, federal, and contractual regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Highly proficient in the operations and oversight aspects of a healthcare or comparable facility.

Will have to assume the roles similar to the CEO, COO, and CFO positions.

Self-starter who works closely with all team members and takes initiative in completing tasks.

Organized, detail oriented, computer proficient, especially Excel, and able to write clearly and professionally.

Proficient in MS Office and computer systems.

Excellent communication and listening skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum LCDC credentials required, LPC or similar chemical dependency credentials a plus. Bachelor’s degree required, Master's Degree preferred. Has at least three years of executive management experience in the operations of a healthcare/hospital facility. Experience with a chemical dependency facility a bonus. If less than 3 years in management, an individual’s experience and aptitude to learn and perform the Executive Director role well will be taken into consideration.

Must have at least 3 verifiable professional or education references.

Must be able to pass criminal history and driving records checks.

Salary: $70,000 per year
