The Job:

  • Job Position: 3750-Executive Administrator
  • Location: Columbia, SC
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Pay Rate: $25.00/ hr on W2

Job Description:
Responsible for providing administrative and project support to executive staff. Gathers and analyzes data for report preparation. Exercises diplomacy and maintains confidentiality.

30% Provide administrative support for executive staff including but not limited to drafting reports and presentations. Communicating with various staff and vendors including scheduling and projects.

30% Develops cooperative working relationships with others and facilitates the completion of multiple individual and group work assignments/projects within set deadlines. Monitors resources and identifies additional requirements as needed.

30% Collect, analyze data, including financial data, and summarize. Make recommendations and develop presentation materials. This will include including creation of charts and graphs in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint and other software applications.

10% Maintain documents, office files, and records for purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills.
  • Good judgment skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
  • Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office - proficient/advanced in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of mathematical or statistical concepts.

Customer service skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate or influence. Presentation skills. Organizational skills.

Work Environment: Typical office environment. Some travel between office buildings.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or Five years of job related work experience.

Required Work Experience:

  • 5 years administrative support experience.
  • Preferred Work Experience: 4 years-executive level support experience.
