VDC Coordinator

Overview:

Our client, an industry leading commercial construction company, is seeking a VDC Coordinator to work onsite to assist in creating and modifying designs, 3D models and drawings. This a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in the Portland Metro area.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing and maintaining project updates
• Provide BIM support for projects
• Facilitating meetings and working with subcontractors
• Coordination of team logistics and facilitation of subcontractor meetings
• Evaluation and documentation of design documents and conflicts
• Resolving field disputes through model verification

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in same or similar role within the AEC industry required
• Experience with some of the following software: Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Formit360, A360, Point Layout and Microsoft Office
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience working with staff on all levels
• Excellent judgment and an accurate understanding of issues
• Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
