Job Description

ACS Global is excited to be exclusively engaged to locate a Manufacturing Process Engineer for high end customed manufactured products that has long stability and growth.

Essential Function:  Improve processes and procedures to increase manufacturing capability, improve product cost, promote safety and improve quality on current manufacturing production lines.

       Responsibilities across all phases of assigned engineering projects to ensure the objectives of quality, time, and cost are met.

       Prepares project schedules and reviews cost estimates, compiles required cost and equipment information, and acquire funding.

       Responsible for effective communication of engineering information among team members.

       Investigates problems and requirements of projects and develops plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations.

       Manage projects of varying levels in parallel.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

       Conduct quality planning, quality cost analysis and quality (KPI) reporting.

       Analyzes and records customer complaints to determine improvements.

       Support product engineering.

       Prepares, reviews and revise standards, procedures, alerts and work instructions.

       Manages document control activities.

       Supports the processing of non-conforming products of the Materials Review Board Area (MRB).

       Responsible for the corrective action processes.

       Prepares, reviews and revises inspection and audit plans and reports.

       Analyzes and manages measuring equipment to ensure all calibration is performed as required and equipment is qualified and adequate for the intended purpose.

       Recommends and implements changes to measuring equipment.

       Prepare and implement process capability studies.

       Support machine qualification and maintenance repair efforts.

       Identify processes where organization is meeting and not requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.

       Analyze and review Defective Material Reports (DMR's).

       Make corrective action involving non-conforming materials

       Utilize statistical methods during quality data collection and analysis as required.

       Comply with safety regulations and personnel policy.

       Maintain clean and orderly work areas

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

       Bachelor degree in an Engineering Discipline.

       Product Management and testing experience a plus

       Strong knowledge in Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement

       Working knowledge in product commercialization processes required

       AutoCAD drafting skills

       Must have high degree of proficiency using 3-D design software (SolidWorks preferred)

       Minimum two years of relevant experience desired

Work Shift: Flexible day shifts and no weekends
