ACNB Bank - Senior Commercial Credit Analyst

OVERVIEW:

In this role, you are responsible for performing administrative duties to support the credit analysis function including receiving financial data on prospective and active borrowing accounts; spreading and analyzing data and evaluating short- and long-run prospects of the individual or company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing thorough documentation of all financial analysis work, including ratios and other related information;
• Contacting Commercial Loan Officers to verify information, obtaining additional credit information, and discussing financial statements;
• Ensuring that all credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with prescribed lending policy; and,
• Maintaining awareness of current industry standards relating to credit analysis, regulatory changes and compliance processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related position normally required;
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
• Moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; attention to detail;
• Proficient PC skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; and,
• Proficient organizational skills; proficient ability to analyze and interpret financial statements; and, visual and auditory skills.

Preferred:

• A thorough knowledge of current lending and loan review regulations, as well as banking regulations, procedures and operations.
