Able is seeking part and full time Behaviorist who possess a superior level of passion and experience supporting individuals with special needs to reach their full potential.

Essential Functions:

● The Behaviorist will be responsible for assisting with initial assessments and analysis, plan development, parent and technician training, and creating reports based on evaluation and treatment plan goals.

● Supervise data collection, review and modify behavioral intervention plans as needed.

● Document and report on progress to DDS payer.

● Complete Site Visits for quality assurance

● Complete Vehicle checks

● Directly observe, and evaluate treatments as administered by Behavior Technicians.

● Provide on-site training to technicians and caregivers.

● Complete in-house required training within the first 30 days of hire.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or
  • Doctoral Degree and current licensure in psychology or
  • Master’s degree in psychology, special education, social work or a related field (Proof of licensure for Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Professional Counselor).
  • Master’s degree in special education and current teacher certification.
  • Complete an interview with DDS.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the regions listed to provide support in the client’s home and community.
  • Minimum experience includes two (2) years of experience providing behavioral supports to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Must include two (2) behavioral support plans that were implemented within the last year. The information in the work samples should be redacted (e.g., removal of identifying names and date of birth) and be specific to individuals with developmental disabilities.
