Critical Job Functions:

• Develop territory growth strategy to include growth within existing customers and new prospects
• Negotiate pricing with customers and work collaboratively with the team to finalize
• Maintain contact with key accounts and new customers to ensure we are exceeding service levels and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Monitor customer trends and operating performance, identify opportunities, develop strategy, and proactively communicate with service center personnel and customer
• Ensure all key customer information is captured in CRM tool to include all customer contacts, current level of business, and account strategy
• Achieve territory sales targets to include revenue growth, operating performance, and key activity metrics

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related work experience
• Existing book of business
• 2+ years in B2B (Business to Business) sales or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience with truckload (TL) and/or third-party logistics (3PL)
• Must not have a non-compete or non-solicitation
• Competitive nature with a hunter mentality and a strong desire to win
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM system, McLeod Software is a plus
• Some flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
