Seasonal Retail Sales Associates provide part-time retail support during the holiday season (October 25th - January 1st ).
This position includes mandatory shifts the day before Thanksgiving (November 28), Christmas week (December 21-24) and New Year’s Eve (December 31).
Seasonal sales associates may be scheduled for shifts any day of the week, Monday through Sunday (typically scheduled 11 AM – 7 PM, 12 PM – 8 PM, and/or 3 PM – 10 PM.)
Seasonal sales associates are eligible for a $300 bonus at the successful completion of their employment (beginning October 25th, but no later than November 2nd through December 31st contingent upon meeting the requirements and not having missed any of the mandatory shifts.)
Your responsibilities will include some or all of the following, depending upon business needs:
Sharing your abounding holiday cheer and goodwill with our fellow team members and guests!
Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting all guests, answering questions, recommending products, and locating items in-store or at a nearby ABC location.
Provide delicious samples of featured products to guests with contagious enthusiasm.
Assist guests in getting their purchases to their vehicle.
Creating exceptional gift baskets by theme, wrapping with enthusiasm, attention to detail and creativity!
Operate a point-of-sale terminal to process all guest transactions, involving basic cash handling and applying coupons or discounts in accordance with company policy.
Unloading delivery trucks is something all retail team members participate in, and seasonal has this opportunity as well. It is a good work out!:) No gym required!
All team members ensure the store is well stocked so you too will be taught to front, block and stock store shelves and coolers.
Love learning about beer? You too can operate the tap to fill guest’s orders at Growler Station.
A clean store is something all ABC guests appreciate and know they can expect from us. That said, you and all team members assist with box breakdown, light trash removal, and light cleaning duties (sweep, mop, keep bathrooms clean and supplied).
You may have other duties as assigned.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be flexible in scheduling with the ability to work weekends, holidays and/or nights
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to frequently lift and/or transport 25 pounds
Must present a neat and professional appearance
Must abide by the ABC dress code and earring/tattoo policy
Position requires walking, standing, bending and lifting.
