AAK is currently seeking to hire an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Richmond, CA location
The Customer Representative works in a fast-paced customer-focused team environment. This position provides an opportunity to have a daily impact on our business by providing world class customer service and will regularly interface with our customers, the Sales team, and Supply chain organization.
• Customer Set up and Maintenance
o Establish and maintain customer accounts and contact information in our ERP system
o Review customer requirements with team and maintain working relationship with customers
• Order Entry & Order Revisions
o Managing and processing of customer’s orders’ in line with contract, procedure guidelines and customer expectations.
o Manage all customer order-related issues and act as a liaison for communication between Sales, Operations, and other Supply Chain functions to resolve service issues and maximize the satisfaction of our customer
• Credit Memos and Return Authorization
o Assist with the Investigation and resolution of any billing concerns and/or pricing issues
o Responsible for issuing credit memos and return authorization’s
• Customer Feedback
o Responsible for entering service complaints/feedback
o Investigate customer complaints by working cross-functionally to escalate and resolve problems quickly and effectively
• Sales Support
Works closely with contract administration team and sales to manage contract balances and spreads with the customer.
Maintains and updates CRM system for accurate contacts and project notes
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of work experience in B2B customer service or related area preferred
• Previous Customer Service/Import and Export Documentation experience a plus
• Problem solving/conflict resolution
• Intermediate / working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to work well with people are essential
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills preferred
• Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail is required
