Job Summary

As the Digital Marketing Lead you will collaborate with the Product Marketing Teams and vendors to impact the marketing effectiveness of multi-million dollar businesses. This role will significantly contribute towards the AAA Membership retention rate, and the revenue generation of key products - Auto Repair, Travel and Membership benefits. The person in this role will understand and refine digital journeys, customizing journeys by audiences and designing digital marketing programs to lift the lead and close rate of the business. Through a continual testing cadence, you will iterate on previous tests making incremental improvements to campaign metrics and KPI's.

The role will uncover valuable trends through data analysis, map customer journeys, define customer segmentation, develop a marketing plan to deliver success against these customer segments and phases, build a testing roadmap, and work with key stakeholders to execute this roadmap across a variety of digital marketing channels.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact to define and execute digital marketing strategies and initiatives.

  • Develop marketing plans to drive Membership retention, and new business for Auto Repair, Travel and Member benefits, by defining customer segments, and building/testing a campaign roadmap to deliver results.

  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Team to drive cross sell through digital channels.

  • Uncover new audiences and journeys by working with the Digital Analyst

  • Oversee the deployment of campaigns with 3rd party vendors including budgeting, forecasting and adherence to goals.

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against acquisition goals and KPIs.

  • Perform day-to-day management of online marketing campaigns; use benchmarks and analytics to maximize performance and drive campaign optimization.

  • Deep dive into conversion, cross sell performance, and report on weekly progress with leadership.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital and online marketing and measurement; identify trends and insights and make recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Seasoned marketer with customer lifecycle marketing knowledge, and broad marketing experience across a wide span of disciplines including acquisition, testing, analytics, engagement and digital media channels.

  • An aptitude for data analysis. A mind for innovation, thinking big, and learning through testing.

  • Experience working cross-functionally across internal and external teams, and driving conversion and engagement programs.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Able to work well with teams and have a positive, goal-oriented attitude.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clear and concise presentation skills to peers and management level.

  • A passion for the Member experience.

  • Experience with Google Analytics 360 and Tealium AudienceStream a plus.

Education and Experience

  • College degree

  • 5 years digital marketing experience
