Job Description: AAA USA is hiring for a Quality Assurance Inspector B located in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a 1099 open ended contract position. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with one of the largest aerospace companies. Position Summary: Provide a central point of contact for all documentation associated with and during the aircraft completion cycle. This position requires the ability to coordinate, prepare, organize, file, scan, and control the required aircraft documentation in a manner which is acceptable to the FAA Administrator under 14 CFR part 145 Repair Station and the Production Certificate PC343CE under 14 CFR part 21. Primary Responsibilities: Preparing Production/Repair Station Doc: 80%Review of incoming , in-progress and completed aircraft documentation for accuracy and completeness; initiate communication with appropriate parties for resolution of any discrepancies discovered and follow up until satisfactorily resolved – This includes, but is not limited to: Delivery Reports, Engine Log Books, Individual Inspection Log Book, component airworthiness documents, STC packages, work orders, discrepancy binder contents, assembly work book documents, Flight Line Work Book documents and production CT113 pages.Accumulate and analyze documents pertaining to aircraft manufacture, delivery, service, repair, and modification, including weight and balance, customer configurations, certifications and inclusion into the aircraft historical archives or customer records.Organize, compile and archive internal aircraft records data. Maintain a historical data base of historical records in an approved sequence and format acceptable to the FAA Administrator, assuring retention, updates and availability for research.Create a complete digital scan of all standard aircraft records, log cards and paper aircraft historical data packages, Supplemental Type Certificates, Engineering drawings and warranty information for delivery to customers.Furnish aircraft historical data as requested by departments, customers or government agencies for verification of modification status, level of completion, inspection or repair.Create delivery documents for outbound deliveries and time sensitive FAA documents. Prepare shipments as requested/required and provide delivery documentation support with items to be shipped to warehouse personnel.Review aircraft records for proper documentation and errors and implement corrections. Validate all part number and serial number changes, update aircraft inventory of components and log cards for changes. Document component maintenance on log cards, create duplicate log cards.Establish and maintain aircraft files for production certificate PC343CE, new helicopter completions under CRS E80R805X including but not limited to original bill of sale, attestation (as translated from French or German to English by aircraft type and by aircraft serial number.Confirm compliance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, with regard to aircraft documentation and repair station procedures.Review Engineering drawing packages, order new drawing revisions and ensure the most current revisions are included in the aircraft data packages delivered to the customer.Review supplemental type certificate (STC) data packages. Ensure that STC packages are complete and have current revisions i.e. permission letter, installation instructions, instructions for continued airworthiness, flight manual supplements etc. Order and update revisions if applicable through contacts with Suppliers, technical publications or engineering.Obtain aircraft registration from Contracts Administration in a timely manner to ensure aircraft is registered prior to transfer to flight line; review incoming registrations for accuracy; maintain registrations in a secured location. Provide support to FAA Designee during the conformity/ticketing process and answer questions and make corrections to documentation as required.Support Quality inspectors with deliveries, conformities and documentation presentation and shipping of records.Support work order closures; input of serialized component installations; entry of RICCOOP EASA AD/SB updates (in both French and English), entry of component changes (removals and installations), update aircraft arrivals in HMS, set-up of initial electronic inspection log book chapters in RICCOOP per aircraft; linking of AHI-MS and AH France grids in SAP; Maintenance entries in RICCOOP; STC entries in RICCOOP; additional use of SAP including, but not limited to, locating installation of specific serial numbers, creating reports, review of Quality Notifications, closure of assigned QN tasks, verification of open/closed work orders, access component action log to verify system movements, etc. Quality Department support: 10%Ensure compliance with repair station policies, procedures, forms and assist with updates as required.Support Company events, departmental meetings, special projects and team meetings.Repair Station Compliance training support, team member and new hire internal training.Creation of Department Purchase Requisitions with accurate part numbers, description, pricing and vendor information; obtain management approval and coordinate with procurement for purchase order and delivery; pick up, verify and distribute received purchases; address any discrepancies with vendor so order adjustments can be made. Archiving Records/Training: 5%Maintaining aircraft historical recordsCustomer Service (Internal/ External)Training Newly hired documentation analyst on job duties Other: 5%Departmental MeetingsSpecial ProjectsTeam Meetings, Required Compliance Training, Random Drug Screen, etc. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: Required:High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred:Associates degree in business administration Experience: Required:Minimum 3 years of Professional Administrative Assistant. Preferred:Aviation administrative experience.Program management experience. Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required:Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize and handle heavy workload under aggressive time line.Time management proficient, a self-starter and ability to work alone is a vital characteristic.Customer oriented attention to detail and highly organized. Preferred:Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations 14 CFRKnowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.Must be able to communicate information to Quality team, customers or large groups of people. Decisions are also based on aircraft installation instructions, manufacturer's guidance, Engineering drawings and FAA Regulations. This position does not determine an aircraft's airworthiness, but builds a maintenance package to support the aircrafts airworthiness status. This position works with a group of Delivery Inspectors, and is not intended to be a stand-alone decision making entity. Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:This position directly contributes to the successful delivery of an aircraft and the support documentation to the customer. By building a successful delivery documentation package for customer delivery, the customer can maintain their aircraft and perform the required inspections as required by the FAA. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
