Job Description

AA Anchor Bolt, Inc. is an anchor bolt manufacturer in Northville, MI. We are seeking a general laborer and assembler who is highly motivated, passionate about their work and thrives in a sometimes-challenging environment. The person must be dependable, detail oriented, have basic reading, writing, and math skills. The right candidate needs to be able to work independently and as a team member. Full-time

Schedule:

4/10 Hourly Work Schedule, Monday-Thursday: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Friday Optional: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm

Potential for overtime - Sometimes mandated based on industry demand

Responsibilities:
• Perform duties related to anchor bolt bending and assembly according to job specifications
• Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, bend, & assemble material
according to job specifications
• Log in and out of jobs on shop computers (Easy 4-6 step process - Will be trained)
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment
• Maintain a safe work environment by using common-sense and adhering to safety
protocols
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervisor

Expectations:
• Punctuality is required - Must be ready to work when the bell rings
• Must be willing to work over-time when mandated. Sufficient notice will be given
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Accountable for quality, accuracy and completeness of your own work and delegated work
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative, team atmosphere
• Good forward planner
• Must be organized and adaptable - your job duties may change throughout the day
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• Ability to read and interpret drawings preferred - or wiliness to learn
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Basic mathematic, reading, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to read a tape measure or willing and able to learn
o Must always carry a 25' tape measure
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy objects - up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail required
• Problem solving abilities
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (bolt threader, saws, bar shear, benders,
impacts, etc.) a plus. Willingness to learn is required
• Ability to work well under pressure often with tight deadlines
• Proficient in English

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license or state issued ID
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a count test
• Must be able to pass a drug test - (Not including THC)

Physical Demands
• Ability to perform repetitive movements
• Ability to reach overhead
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, and twist
• Ability to frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds

• Employee will be required to wear safety glasses and steel toe or composite boots or shoes
with rubber soles.
• Employee is regularly exposed to noise, dust, dirt, and oil
• Employee is expected to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work
area
