Position Summary

We are looking for an Internet Marketing SEO Specialist to join Farber’s Consumer Practice. You will be responsible for managing digital projects under the direction of the Manager of Digital Marketing. The position is responsible for effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and an accurate and timely execution of SEO initiatives to support the integrated marketing strategy and priorities in the Consumer Practice.

Major Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed initial search engine optimization analysis/audits
  • Recommend and carry out on-site and technical changes
  • Identify and understand the audience and analyze search Intent
  • Periodically reassess the changing marketplace to ensure that customers’ needs are understood
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and identify keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
  • Analyze web traffic and behavior for optimization
  • Competitive analysis of keywords and SEO techniques
  • Create effective ranking strategies
  • Develop link building strategies and build natural backlinks
  • Maximize local search exposure
  • Perform split-tests on similar pages
  • Prepare detailed strategy reports
  • Research the latest SEO practices and present SEO guidelines
  • Work with writers and designers to develop content and persuasive calls-to-action
  • To initiate and carry out objective testing of tools, resources and techniques
  • Frequent cost/benefit analysis about resource allocation

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 years of proven experience in SEO
  • Prior experience in content marketing and content growth is an asset
  • Experience with website optimization tools
  • Excellent knowledge of SEO practices
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Excellent with numbers and in creating top quality written reports
  • Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms
  • Proficient user of Google Analytics and other major third-party SEO analytics platforms

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
