Position will start off as remote and return to office next year
- PAY RATE: $19.00 per hour (possible increase after 90 days)
- HOURS: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday no weekends - 8: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM is main shift. Other shift available.
Pharmacy Technician Details
- Will be reviewing prior authorizations and making the decision to approve/deny the prior auth.
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
Required:
- Must have a CA State Pharmacy Technician License clear and active
- Must be Certified as a Pharmacy Technician and have clear and active pharmacy tech license. Certification Active under PTCB or ExCPT.
- 1+ years of experience in a Windows based computer utilizing Microsoft Offices.
- Prefer Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions
