Holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from accredited School of Pharmacy. Must have a current, active and unrestricted pharmacist license in State of Texas. Must have strong commitment to customer service, excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills. Advanced training in disease management (e.g. autoimmune disorders, HCV, diabetes, inflammatory disorders (RA)), is preferred. Physician group experience is strongly recommended. Has a history of conducting all transactions with customers and employees at the highest level of ethics.
This is a full-time position based out of Richardson, TX. Clinical Pharmacist is a health professional who interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify prescriptions, review assessments, provide patient counseling and associated documentation and expedite processing of order. Assists with patient clinical management, fulfillment and outcomes. The Clinical Pharmacist coordinates management of complex medication regimens for patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes implementation of medication management, assessment of patient needs, development of medication care plans, and education of medication regimens.
