Healthcare Call Center Job Description:

  • Provides essential clerical & phone support to the pharmaceutical care pharmacist through organized, accurate and timely prioritization of administrative duties.
  • Responsible for professional communication between patients and healthcare call center professionals
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to Pharmacy patients
  • Verifies eligibility/prior authorization and other reimbursement requirements prior to shipment
  • Escalates clinical questions and issues to the staff pharmacist for resolution
  • Manage medical records and charts
  • Handle clerical and administrative duties
