Evening Shift LPN - SNF

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Mid Island NY 10314 for a major nursing home.

Location: Mid Island NY 10314

Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM - This role requires alternating weekends.

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Scheduled Pay: Weekly

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and short-term disability after 90 days

Contract for 13 weeks with the potential to extend based on performance, attendance and business needs

RN Med Surg Duties

• Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Administering medication
• Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Collecting specimen samples when needed
• Taking an active part in patient care planning
• Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Assisting in medical procedures
• Managing emergency medical situations

Medical Surgical Experience

• Associate of Science in Nursing Require
• Active LPN State NY license
• Required AHA BLS - required IV Certification - preferred
• 1 year of Med/Surg experience and LTC experience is required
